Development Office

 Director's Message
Blessings!  Welcome to the Development Office of the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth.

I encourage you to explore our website to discover the wonderful ministries our sisters are involved in throughout the United States, El Salvador, Mexico and Haiti.

You will also find stories about our “retired” sisters in our quarterly newsletter, GodSend.  Many of these sisters continue to serve the Congregation by volunteering in our Administrative Offices, hospitals, schools and parishes.

The Sisters of Charity continue to ask for your prayers and your generous financial support. By sharing your gifts, you are helping us to continue our mission of working with and for the poor.

If you would like to be a part of our mailing list, please email me at AGardiner@scnj.org.

May God bless you and your family for your generous support of our ministries and our retired sisters.

Anne Marie Gardiner

Director of Development

 Giving

Support our effort to be the Hands, the Feet, the Heart of Christ through our works of education, healthcare, pastoral work, and advocacy for those in need.

Where we place ourselves may signal the difference between light and dark, hope or despair. Throughout our history, we have received the generosity of many who have wanted the mission to continue, to find new ways to deal with seemingly impossible suffering and want.

These "mirrors" have protected the candles of mission from being extinguished and in many cases have raised the light of the mission as a guide with the fuel of the flame being prayer.

Stewardship
Stewardship is central to the life of the Congregation. The General Superior and her Council work with professional management firms to oversee our investments.
NO gift dollars are used to operate the Development Office of the Sisters of Charity.

Approximately 89 cents of every dollar donated is used for the purpose for which it was donated. The Development Office is financially supported by the operating revenue of the Congregation. Our financial records are audited annually by an independent accounting firm.
