Greetings from the Development Office!
During the month of March, we look forward to our long awaited spring weather and we begin to move through the season of Lent. We are reminded that there truly is “light at the end of the tunnel,” not just the light of longer, warmer days, but the radiant light of Christ whose Resurrection we celebrate at Easter.
This month’s Sister Story was contributed by Rosemary Carroll, who is the Director of Seton Associates, the affiliated lay and religious men and women who carry on the charism of charity. This story introduces Sister Marie Gilligan and Sister Kathy Quigley, who served the people of Amory, Mississippi. These Sisters sowed seeds of charity in ministries continued today by a committed band of Seton Associates. The story demonstrates charity that is truly boundless, with works taken up anew by people who have responded to God’s call to serve others.
Thank you for supporting the Sisters of Charity and all those who so selflessly devote their lives to the mission of serving others. May God bless you and your family.
