The Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth join with millions of Catholics and many others throughout the world in prayer as we mourn the death of our Holy Father, Pope Francis.   We give thanks for all he did during his time as Pope reminding the world of the teachings of Jesus Christ.  He advocated for all people who suffered from injustice, especially for those who were marginalized and oppressed. He spoke out against wars and pleaded for all who were victims of these conflicts, especially the children and the elderly.   We pray for his eternal rest and peace and will continue to be advocates for all who suffer injustice.
